Beaujolais day is celebrating the first wine of the season on the 3rd Friday of November and is hugely renowed for a day of dressing up and sampling the wines! A little birdy tells us its a fantastic day in Swansea where they celebrate every year. We do like a good old knees up so maybe next year Number 8 will indulge in this French tradition for a bit of fun! Words used to describe Beaujolais nouveau: light, fruity, zesty, exuberant, strawberry and banana…honestly why wouldn’t we want to take part?
